No fixed numeric ratio of first-aiders to employees. North Dakota has no state OSHA plan; employers fall under 29 CFR 1910.151(b): where no medical facility is in near proximity, at least one person must be adequately trained in first aid. Performance-based standard (3-4 minute response for serious-hazard sites, up to about 15 minutes for low-hazard offices).
